Machine Learning Engineer

We are growing quickly and are looking for a machine learning engineer to join our engineering team in Estonia or remotely from anywhere between UTC-1 and UTC+4.

Our hybrid team with offices in Tallinn has embraced the remote-first mindset from day one. We are growing quickly and are looking for a machine learning engineer to join our engineering team in Estonia or remotely from anywhere between UTC-1 and UTC+4.

  • Python
  • Pandas, spaCy, TensorFlow, PyTorch etc.
  • Google Cloud Platform
  • Apache Beam / Google Cloud Dataflow, Apache Airflow / Google Cloud Composer
  • PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Spanner, BigQuery, Google Cloud Pub/Sub
  • Metabase, Google Data Studio
  • Google Cloud AI

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building and evaluating tooling for data processing and other machine learning needs
  • Developing scalable methods for processing of structured and unstructured data in batches and real-time
  • Building predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
  • Developing best practice methodologies for running machine-learning algorithms and models in production
  • Identifying needs and developing solutions for instrumentation and monitoring of production models and processing pipelines

The job is for you if you have…

  • At least 6 years of experience in software development, data engineering or machine learning in a product company
  • Proven track record as a solid software engineer with a focus on Python-based software development
  • Curiosity towards programming languages like Go or Java
  • Strong understanding of SQL and database technologies
  • Working experience with cloud-native technologies like Apache Beam, Apache Spark, Airflow, Kafka
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services
  • Comfortable with working remotely in English across departments
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Working knowledge of software version control systems
  • Issue tracking software experience
